Maja Salvador, portrays the role of a runner in a Paul Soriano independent film. She is being trained by national track star and Survivor Philippines castaway Elma Muros and her husband Jojo Posadas for her role as a runner in the independent film “Thelma.” Elma will also play the role as coach in the movie.

Under the direction of Paul Soriano and distributed by Star Cinema, the film is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on September 7, 2011.
