Rachel Weisz is now in Manila for the filming of Bourne Legacy

Rachel Weisz arrived in Manila last Sunday (January 8) around 6:30 PM.

ANC reported that Rachel Weisz landed on Philippine soil evening of Jan. 8 from Hong Kong via Cathay Pacific Airlines flight CX 903.

Rachel is here for the filming of “Bourne Legacy” the fourth installment of “Bourne” novels turned movie franchise. “Bourne Legacy,” will starting filming today.

According to MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, “Bourne Legacy” will be shot in Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Jones Bridge and in El Nido, Palawan.

As of January 2, ABS-CBN’s official Facebook page already got a total of 2,014,649 likes from users all over the world and currently the fifth top Facebook page in the Philippines based on social media statistics site Social Bakers (www.socialbakers.com).

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN also ruled the Twitterverse as the most followed Philippine TV network on Twitter with 102,449 followers versus GMA (@gmanetwork) with 30,533 and TV5 (@TV5Manila) with 44,785 as of  January 2, 2012.

ABS-CBN stars and shows are also labeled as the most popular online on both Facebook and Twitter as they also received the most number of likes and followers compared to those from rival networks.

Kapamilya stars Vice Ganda (3,687,842 likes) and Angel Locsin (2,509,645 likes), grabbed the top two spots among the most liked Facebook pages in the country followed by ABS-CBN’s morning talent show “Showtime” (2,370,759 likes) on third, still based on data from Social Bakers.

Anne Curtis, on the other hand, remains to be the most followed Filipina on Twitter with 2,116,672. Joining her among the five celebrities with more than one million Twitter followers are Angel Locsin (1,285,841), Vice Ganda (1,228,698), Kris Aquino (1,133,057), and Sam Milby, (1,049,626).

ABS-CBN Execs & Stars Reach Out To Sendong Victims

ABS-CBN top executives led by chairman and CEO Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III and ABS-CBN Foundation managing director Gina Lopez traveled to Cagayan de Oro Friday to join the network’s relief operations and visited more than 800 families staying at Paaralang Sentral ng Hilaga and to distribute goods from “Sagip Kapamilya: Operation Sendong” along with popular stars Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, and Enchong Dee.

Prior to the visit of ABS-CBN executive, several Kapamilya stars had joined the relief operations like Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, and Anne Curtis; Sam Milby, Diether Ocampo, Jake Cuenca, Maricar Reyes, and Rafael Rosell, John Lloyd Cruz, Shaina Magdayao, Matteo Guidicelli, and ABS-CBN channel 2 head Cory Vidanes.

Other Kapamilya talents took part in the nightly “Sagip Kapamilya: Operation Sendong Telethon” that allowed donors to help the victims of the Sendong. JM de Guzman, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Julia Montes, and Robi Domingo, among others, stayed up late to accept pledges from caller-donors here in the country and overseas.

As of Friday (Dec 22) 3pm, the total donations of “Sagip Kapamilya: Operation Sendong” have reached P42.6 million with an additional P2.1 million worth of pledges raised. On the same day, Sagip Kapamilya also reported that the program has served more than 63,000 people or around 21,252 families.

Meanwhile, “ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya: Operation Sendong” is continuously seeking for in-kind and cash donations to aid the families affected by the tragedy.

In-kind donations like canned goods, rice, noodles, biscuits, coffee, sugar, clothes, blankets, mats, and medicines can be brought to Sagip Kapamilya, ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. Mother Ignacia cor. Eugenio Lopez St. Diliman, Quezon City; ABS-CBN Cagayan De Oro, Barangay Bulua, Cagayan De Oro City; and to ABS-CBN Davao, Shrine Hills, Matina, Davao City.

For cash donations, interested parties may send it to Banco de Oro (Sct. Albano, Quezon Ave., Quezon City Branch) under the account name ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.-Sagip Kapamilya with account number 393-011-4199. For international cash donations, Sagip Kapamilya’s BDO dollar account number is 393-008-1622 with a ‘swift code,’ BNORPHMM.

The public can also deposit their donation through PNB and BPI which both carry the account name ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.-Sagip Kapamilya. The account number in PNB is 419-539-5000-13; while in BPI (West Triangle, Quezon City Branch) is 3051-1127-75. The BPI Dollar Account is under the name ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.-Sagip Kapamilya with the account number, 3054-0270-35.
